Dani Dupree strikes again! The Beyond the Gates character is back with another winning look.
This time, Dani, played by Karla Mosley, traded her colorful striped maxi dress for a bronze satin suit.
Dani certainly knows how to dress for the occasion, and her wardrobe continues to be one of the highlights of the CBS daytime drama.
Her latest outfit caught our attention not just because of the color combination, but also because of how she styled the pieces.
Satin With a Splash of Emerald
Dani wore Fashion Nova's Gabriella Satin Trench Coat and Pant Set in Bronze. The set includes a long trench coat with wide lapels and matching trousers.
The length of the coat makes quite an impression, while the satin's noticeable sheen gives the outfit a dressier finish than an everyday pantsuit. And while satin suits aren't anything new, the combination of these pieces makes Dani's outfit a little more interesting.
Rather than wearing a matching top underneath, Dani went with JLuxLabel's Thalia Textured Bustier in Emerald. The bustier features thin straps, a sweetheart neckline and textured detailing across the front.
The emerald is a perfect choice against the bronze, giving the outfit a pop of color without making it look too busy.
The trousers and coat have a loose fit, while the bustier sits close to the body, giving the outfit some shape.
It's All in the Accessories
Dani didn't stop at the suit and bustier. She added the Soleil Statement Stone Gold Chain Belt from 12th Tribe, which features a large rectangular centerpiece decorated with stones and gold chain detailing.
The belt sits right at her waist, drawing attention to the bustier while adding an extra decorative touch to the trousers.
She also carried Zara's Oblong Shoulder Bag, a sensible choice considering how much was already happening with the outfit. A larger or more decorative bag would definitely have been too much.
For her hair, Dani went with loose waves and a side part. She wore large hoop earrings, while her makeup was kept fairly simple, with defined eyes and a neutral lip.
Chic in Contrast
There's quite a lot to like about Dani's latest look, starting with the colors.
Bronze and emerald aren't necessarily the first two shades you'd think to put together, but the pairing creates a rich, elegant look.
The satin suit has a relaxed feel, while the bustier adds a pretty, feminine touch.
The pieces can also be worn separately, giving Dani the option of wearing the coat open or taking it off altogether for a different look.
The bold gold belt adds some extra detailing and a slightly flashy touch against the bronze trousers.
Overall, the styling works, and the emerald bustier gives the outfit its own character.
It's a perfect example of how a suit doesn't have to be styled with a traditional blouse to look fashionable.
Dani Dupree has once again shown why her wardrobe deserves attention on Beyond the Gates. From the bronze satin suit to the emerald bustier and bold accessories, every piece had its place.
It's another fashion win for Dani, and we're already looking forward to seeing what she wears next.
