Ghosts star Rebecca Wisocky is teasing what's ahead for viewers as the CBS comedy prepares for its Halloween special, airing Thursday, October 29.
The actress, who plays Hetty Woodstone, recently spoke on an interview with TV Insider about the upcoming episode, including Hetty's reunion with her estranged sister Margaret, played by Maria Thayer.
She also discussed what viewers can expect from Ben Feldman's character, Kyle.
Hetty's Sister Returns for Halloween
The Halloween episode will introduce viewers to Margaret, Hetty's estranged sister, played by Maria Thayer.
The reunion brings another member of Hetty's family into the story, giving viewers a chance to learn more about her past and the
complicated relationships she had before her death.
Ben Feldman Takes on a Bigger Role
Ben Feldman is also part of the Halloween episode as Kyle, a character whose involvement brings a different dynamic to Woodstone Mansion.
Kyle's presence comes at a time when the show is adjusting to Sam's temporary absence, leaving Jay to navigate some seriously unusual circumstances without his wife by his side.
Rose McIver's Absence
Wisocky also addressed working without Rose McIver, who plays Samantha Arondekar on the CBS comedy.
Sam's absence has changed the usual interactions between the show's living characters and its resident ghosts.
With Sam away, the episode gives other characters room to take on different responsibilities while the ghosts continue their adventures at Woodstone Mansion.
The Ghosts Halloween special is scheduled to air Thursday, October 29, on CBS.
